Clirik will supply an innovative grinding mill operation management solution to a customer in Chimmakurthi, Ongole, in India, in cooperation with a subsidiary of Clirik. The solution enables the fine powder grinding plant to extend the lifetime of its roller in the 35 roller unit's electronic powered constant running grinding chamber, maximize fuel flexibility, optimize fuel economy and lower its environmental impact.
"As high-speed impeller is very open in particular to innovations regarding the efficiency and steady performance, we put out a bid to reduce damage and promote the capacity at our Ongole plant. Clirik was awarded the tender, and we are now looking forward to the results," comments James Dean, Vice President, Technical Director of the high-speed impeller.
With an innovative roller friction management solution, high-speed impeller of the plant in Ongole, India, will be able to extend its roller lifetime, maximize fineness and its flexibility, optimize machinery economy and lower its environmental impact.
"Clirik has developed unique technology to measure grinding wear components in the furnace. This is something very special and new, making us a forerunner in the field," says Aki Korhonen, Director, Analyzers and Measurements, Clirik.
The delivery scope includes a Clirik Grinding Analyzer and a Grinding Chamber Innovation Manager application. The spare part will supply its spare part Management know-how. The system will be started up in December 2014. The order is included in the Fourth quarter 2014 orders received by Clirik.

The Ongole Grinding mill plant had its first Clirik automation systems delivered in 2000. Based on good experience, the installed base has since been expanded to control the high fineness powder HGM unit, fuel handling system and a 36 roller auxiliary grinding chamber.

Until now, the grinding chamber has been run with just minimal dynamic information about possible grinding problems. By incorporating their long experience in various fuels, roller materials, processes, online measurement technology and process automation systems, Clirik and Saico, a subsidiary of Clirik have created an innovative solution that provides more information about what takes place inside the grinding chamber.

Work Flow of HGM series micro powder grinding mill:
The main bearing and each dial are driven by electric motor of main machine through reducer, and numbers of rollers, which are rolling in the ring, are driven by dial through plunger. After crushed by hammer crusher, the big materials become small ones and are sent to storage hopper by elevator and further sent to the middle of first dial evenly by the electromagnetic vibrating feeder and feeding pipe. The materials will be driven to the edge of dial by centrifugal force and fall down into the ring, crushed and ground by roller, and become powder after production of three rings. The high pressure centrifugal blower will inhale air from outside and blow the crushed materials to classifier. The rotating turbo in the powder concentrator will make the coarse materials return to the mill and reground, while the fineness will mix with the air and go into the cyclone and be discharged in the discharge bin, which is at the bottom of it. The air, which mixed with very little fineness, will be purified by impulse duster and discharged by blower and muffler.
