1. Raw material screening of coconut shell activated carbon


The quality of activated carbon depends on the quality of the raw materials. There are two main sources of coconut shell activated carbon in the market, one is Hainan coconut shell, and the other is Indonesian coconut shell. The shell of Hainan coconut is thin and the density is not very high, while the shell of Indonesian coconut is thick and dense. In contrast, the quality of activated carbon processed from Indonesian coconut shell will be better.

2. Carbonization


Put the screened coconut shells into the carbonization equipment, and after the high temperature burns to a certain level, the charcoal kiln is closed to allow air to enter, and then the residual heat continues to heat and dry distillation to make the moisture and wood tar in the coconut shells sloughed out, which forms coconut shell charcoal. .

3. Activation


The carbonized coconut shell charcoal is put into the activation furnace, and oxygen-containing gas such as water vapor and flue gas (the main component is CO2) is used as an activator, and it is activated by a redox reaction in contact with the charcoal at high temperature. The main operating conditions of the activation process include activation temperature, activation time, flow rate and temperature of the activator, feeding speed, oxygen content in the activation furnace, and the like.

4. Particle size screening of coconut shell activated carbon


The activated coconut shell charcoal will become coconut shell activated carbon at this time, and then it can be screened according to the customer's particle size requirements. The commonly used coconut shell activated carbon particle size is 6-12 mesh, 8-16 mesh, 10-24 mesh , 20-40 mesh, 200 mesh, 325 mesh and so on.

5. Packaging


The packaging specification of coconut shell activated carbon is generally 25kg/bag or ton package, and the packaging bag adopts double-layer woven bag, which is strong and has moisture-proof function.
