HGM Ultrafine Grinding Mill for Ground Calcium Carbonate GCC Production Line 400 mesh to 2500 mesh
In the above video, HGM ultrafine grinding mill is used for processing ground calcium carbonate (also named heavy calcium carbonate or GCC).
Background of the project
Ground calcium carbonate is widely used as filler in rubber, plastic, papermaking, coating, ink, medicine, food, daily chemical and other industries because of its wide source and low price, so as to save masterbatch, increase capacity and weight and reduce cost.
When ground calcium carbonate is used as filling pigment in coatings, it can not only greatly reduce the cost of coatings, but also affect many properties of coatings, such as improving the mechanical strength of coatings and improving the water resistance of coatings, so it is widely used as physical pigment of coatings.
It can also be used as a functional filler with high quality and low price. Therefore, in civil and industrial coatings, ground calcium carbonate has always been one of the most important basic materials in the composition of coatings.
The customers in the video use our ultra-fine grinding machine to process 400 mesh to 2500 mesh of ground calcium carbonate powder. This fineness range of ground calcium carbonate powder can be widely used in high-end coatings industry.
HGM ultrafine grinding mill can process calcium carbonate powder ranging from 150-3000 mesh. Customers can adjust the output size according to their own needs. The capacity of different discharge fineness is also different, ranging from 0.5 tons to 45 tons per hour.
The mill production line usually includes hammer crusher, bucket elevator, storage bin, vibrating feeder, micropowder mill host, frequency conversion classifier, double cyclone powder collector, pulse dust removal system, high pressure fan, air compressor , electrical control system, etc. The bulk material is crushed by the hammer crusher into a feed size (about 1cm) suitable for the operation of the ultra-fine pulverizer, and then the fineness suitable for the production requirements is achieved by adjusting the rotation speed of the analyzer of the pulverizer, and it is manually packaged into bags , You can also configure automatic micro powder balers and choose different types of pulverizers according to your needs.
The working principle of HGM ultrafine grinding mill
When working, the main motor drives the main shaft and the turntable to rotate through the reducer, and the roller pins on the edge of the turntable drive dozens of grinding rollers to roll in the grinding ring raceway.
The bulk material is crushed into small particles by the hammer crusher, and then sent to the storage bin by the elevator, and then sent to the bulk material tray on the upper part of the turntable evenly through the vibrating feeder and the inclined feeding pipe.
The material is scattered to the periphery of the circle under the action of centrifugal force, and falls into the raceway of the grinding ring. It is impacted, rolled and ground by the ring roller. It is sucked into the machine, and the pulverized material is brought into the classifier.
The rotating impeller in the powder concentrator makes the coarse material fall back for regrinding, and the fine powder that meets the requirements enters the cyclone powder collector with the airflow and is discharged from the discharge valve at the lower part to be the finished product, while the airflow with a small amount of fine dust passes through. After being purified by the pulse dust collector, it is discharged through a fan and a muffler.
